Advisors: (1) Patemah S.SiT, (2) Rizana Fajrunni'mah S.Kep.NersrnKIA book is a recording instrument and educative extension for mothers and their families, as well as a means of communication between health professionals and families., there are still pregnant women who do not take advantage of KIA book due to their laziness, and do not understand the intention and purpose of the KIA book.rnThe study objective is to find out the attitudes and knowledge in using KIA Book.This is a descriptive study design with a sample of 30 pregnant mother who were in accordance with the inclusion criteria. The sampling technique used was total samplingrnThe results indicates balance in maternal attitudes that positive attitude is percentage 50% and a negative attitude is 50%. Most of the pregnant women are knowledgeable enough with the percentage of 63.3%, less knowledgeable with the percentage of 20%, well knowledgeable with the percentage of 16.7%. Crosstabulation between Attitudes and Knowledge shows that knowledgeable respondents either have a positive attitude in 80% and 20% negative attitudes, respondents that were knowledgeable enough to have a positive attitude as much as 42.1%, 57.9% and negative attitudes.While the less knowledgeable respondents have a positive attitude as much as 50% and 50% is negative attitude.From these results it can be concluded that the attitudes and knowledge of pregnant women about the utilization of KIA books is still necessary to be increased again, it is advisable to conseling about KIA books and give motivation to mothers to read KIA book.rnBIbliographies : 19 References (1999-2009)rnKeywords : Attitude, Knowledge, KIA Book
