Final Task :D3 Midwefery Study Program Of Widyagama Husada Health Science College. Supervisors : (1) dr . Wira Daramatasia M.Biomed (2).dr.WidyaDamayantirn. Adolescent reproductive hygiene should be maintained because it is easier once incoming germs , especially during menstruation . Based on a preliminary study conducted in March by doing a live interview to the 1st and 2nd grade students at MTs Al - Fathoni , 12 students from 20 student didn’t not understand about the vulva genital hygiene during menstruation such as how many times a day should replace the pads , and the many students complain if her female organs often experience itching. The purpose of this study is to describe the level of knowledge and attitude of adolescent girls towards vulvar hygiene during menstruation . The design of this study used a descriptive research design that aims to describe the knowledge and attitudes of young women against vulvar hygiene during menstruation in MTS. The population used was grade 2 and 3 (63 students). The samples taken using random sampling technique ie 40 students who met the inclusion criteria . Instruments used in the form of questionnaires. The results showed that out of 40 respondents who had knowledge of vulvar hygiene during menstruation in enough categories namely 55 % ( 22 people ) and while the girls category attitude towards vulvar hygiene during menstruation is a negative as many as 55 % ( 22 people ) . Suggestions as the development of science, especially in terms of knowledge and attitudes towards teenage girls vulva hygiene during menstruation and students are expected to follow the increase of knowledge through extension , ask the teacher , and seek information electronically and non- electronically mediated.rnReferences : 11 References (2000 – 2013)rnKeywords : Knowledge , young women , vulvar hygienern.
