Asih Tri Rachmi N., MM.rnCaries is a disease / disorder that is caused by bacteria in plaque. The sign was originally in the form of color changes on the surface of the tooth. The longer this area will change color to darker (brown / black) then resulting holes. If the network hardware is damaged, the dental structure can no longer be regenerated. The pain will occur if caries has reached the nerve of the tooth. The purpose of this research was to find out the relation of mother's level of knowledge about the incidence of dental caries caries in children age 4 – 5 years in TK Muslimat NU 02 village Karangpandan Pakisaji.rnThe research was analytic with the approach of cross sectional which was held on 19 to 21 June 2013. The population was all children age 4 - 5 years in TK Muslimat NU 02 Karangpandan Pakisaji with her mother. Method the sample with accidental sampling, the number of samples were 19. Instrument used was questionnaires and observation and calculated by test Spearman Rank.rnThe results showed that the level of knowledge of good mother as many as 16 people (84.2%), the majority of children experiencing caries as many as 12 (63.2%) and 7 children (58,3%) experiencing caries being. From the results of testing with test of Rank Spearman Corelation suggests that there is a correlation between the value of the signifiksan of 0.868 0,460. The conclusion that there was no relationship between the mother's level of knowledge about the incidence of dental caries caries in children aged 4 - 5 years in TK Muslimat NU 02 KarangPandan - Pakisaji.
