Background: Compliance to visit health care facilities is often a problem for
people with hypertension. Patients with hypertension should visit health
services regularly, either to get antihypertensive drugs or merely check blood
pressure. Therapy adherence and blood pressure stability in hypertensive
patients are measured by the frequency of visits to health services.
Objective: The objective of this study is to analyze the correlation of
compliance to visit health services with hypertension patients’ blood pressure
during pandemic at Amelia Medika Jaya Gempol Clinic.
Methods: This research used quantitative method with a cross sectional
research design. The sampling technique used was the Non Probability
Sampling with a purposive sampling approach. The independent variable in
this study was adherence to visit health services and the dependent variable
in this study was the blood pressure of hypertensive patients. The data
collection technique was carried out with an instrument that had been made
by the researcher and then tested using SPSS with Chi-Square analysis.
Results: The results obtained using the Chi Square test from 30 respondents
in December 2021 showed p value = 0.821, January 2022 showed p value =
0.009, February 2022 showed p value = 0.299, March 2022 showed p value
= 0.000, April 2022 showed p value = 0.002 and May 2022 showed p
value = 0.000. On December 2022 and February 2022 p value = > 0.05. It
can be interpreted that there is no correlation between compliance to visit
health services and blood pressure during the pandemic of hypertension
